The Scientific Information Center and Academic Library (CINiBA)
The Scientific Information Center and Academic Library is a common library of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the University of Economics in Katowice. The library was opened to users on September 27, 2012. It is located in the heart of the university campus, in the center of the Silesian agglomeration. The CINiBA offers its services to scientists and students, but also to inhabitants of Katowice and the entire region.
It is one of the most modern information centers providing support for education, culture and business. Good organization of space (places for individual and group work, for reading press, for rest) results in identification of the library as a place suitable for intellectual meetings and where you can spend your time pleasant way.
The center is open from Monday to Saturday from 8.00 am – 8.00 pm.
During the examination sessions, the CINiBA is opened until 11.00 pm.
