General information about library without barriers

Additional services dedicated to the disabled:

• Readers who are physically disabled can use books and magazines in the Information Centre, in room 413, where librarians who are on duty will provide them with requisite help, will bring all materials ordered and will help them use the reference library.
• In the Information Centre, the disabled have at their disposal a computer station fitted with equipment which makes it possible to use some of the library and Internet resources, as well as a scanner, OCR FineReader software and the JAWS speech synthesizer.
• The University Library has launched a service which provides the readers with digital copies of library materials. We offer scanning of e.g. magazine articles and selected chapters from books for personal use.
